Curriculum Vitae

Rooted in a developmental psychopathology framework, my research interests focus on family relationships and the processes underlying children's social and emotional development within the context of the family and culture. My current work explores youths' exposure to social ecologies of conflict in Northern Ireland, family risk and resilience, and children's well-being and risk for psychopathology. Of particular interest to me are the exploration of positive aspects of family life and relationships, the role of religiosity and mindfulness in family and child development, stress and protection in military families, and innovative methodologies and quantitative techniques for family research.
