Kelly Lavin

Kelly is a first year doctoral student in the Human Development program at CUA. Prior to CUA, Kelly obtained her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Denver. Kelly's research interests lie in identifying and understanding factors that promote healthy social and emotional development in children. Kelly is particularly interested in the role peers and family may play in adolescents' and emerging adults' psychological well-being. Ultimately, Kelly is curious how her research can be used to design intervention and prevention efforts to support positive youth development.
